Besides the basic hand tools like sockets, screw drivers. Needle nose Pliers, dremal, drill and bits, channel locks, maybe vise grips, helping hands, dikes(cutters), c clamp, spring loaded clamps, hack saw, xacto blade, allen wrenches, soldering iron, hammer, I know I'm missing other things. I know it's alot of tools but once you have em it makes things much easier and more enjoyable. And if youve been into rcs for a long time then you should have a vast assortment of screws and parts and such which always comes in handy

Well looks like I'm only missing a few that you listed thank god lol. I don't ever solder and don't plan to plus my eyes aren't good enough for it.

as far as the screw that's stripped just use a dermal and cut a slot into the screw and remove with a flat head screwdriver

I really recommend this: http://www.killerrc.com/product/allen-bit-set/

It has made things very easy & fast. I also use this: http://www.harborfreight.com/4-piece-sae-offset-ratcheting-wrench-set-68834.html. The 1/4" one works good w/it as the bits are 1/4" bits.

I also recommend this: http://www.harborfreight.com/6-magnetic-hex-bit-extension-68517.html. One shorter will work fine too but this compliments the bits real good as you don't have to unchuck a bit from a drill or an impact. It makes one handed bit swaps a whole lot easier.

I use the 1/4" ratchet wrench w/a bit in the hard to get spots. It's like using an Allen wrench but you can get better torque. It can be a bit tricky tho as you have to hold the bit straight & the wrench from dropping past whatever level you are using it at all w/your free hand. But it has made some jobs easy.

Oh, when using the bits in a drill, set the drill clutch to the softest setting & then tighten by hand. These screws/bolts are soft.

Here's a few pics of my progress so far. It's in the stage of being put back together. I have actually been taking my time with this project unlike the MT one where I rush things. The fuel lines are actually a nice dark neon orange not this nasty peach looking color. I have no idea why my phone is messing with the colors.

Well almost finished, just have to wait for a few more parts to come in. I have decided to wait to put the 8K clutch and spring on until I get the new motor. Here's a few pics
