gears

Any one have good tips on how to remove these nut and gears with out damaging the gear or shaft?

Can someone explain to me the major difference between Silicon and Grease for differential gear fluid. The advantage and disadvantage? Difference and similarity? Why Silicon over grease?

I opened my read diff, to change the fluid, and noticed that there is only 1 pair of planet gears in the rear diff. The shaft is notched to accomodate a 2nd. pair. The case also has the slot in the side. I would think it to be stronger with 2 pairs. Does your have 1 pair or 2?

Hope that someone here has some info on using Mcd steel gears as mine have seen better days and is is easier to get the mcd gears. I wanted to know if they fit is the mcd gear plate the same as Redcat. Thanks in advance for help. :)

I was going to do some maintenance on my mt, went to remove the diff plate and three of the gears are stuck and I can't get them off. Any suggestions??

Should all the gear nuts be tight? 2 of them are tight, but the middle one is loose and turns around the shaft. When I tighten the middle one, the truck wont move....when I loosen it, it runs freely. any help?

Does anyone still sell the plastic rampage gears? I recently put baja tires on my mt and wanted to change the gearing to 31-29 but can only find steel gears. The plastic ones I have are holding up just fine. Also what other manufacturers make compatible gears?? Thanks.

Differential gear mount assembly. Clutchbell and first main gear 25T it`s connected by pin and rubber o-ring ,basically every 5 min pin slides out of the hole. I have tried to tighten really hard the set nut , leave it loose same thing. Is there any solution for it anybody came across this issue.
