Made a rubber gear plate gasket,from a piece of 3mm rubber.With some silicone to fill in the larger gaps,should seal out dirt well.I am going to fill gear cover with red grease,to get the gears to last a little longer.Hope to keep heat down,with some well greased gears. Fits the aluminum...

Does anyone use a copper head gasket? Is it necessary to also use RTV gasket maker with the copper gasket?

Got some unexspected time today so I did the mod, it's not quite finished yet, I need to make up some skid braces still. I wont be able to run it till the weekend to see how it works but looking at just geralds mod I think it will.
