Its a cmr5 in the 32 cc MT.I seen where the 30 cc has the cmr7, and wonder why the have a 5 in the 32 cc?

Also Walmart carries a cmr7 but not ngk, I was wondering if it had to be ngk.
Thats interesting especially as the 7 is hard to get here in Oz

You can pick the 5 up in any mower shop as most weed wackers use em.

We don't have Walmart so I buy mine online from PowerSlide Racing which is VERY similar to DDM.

I wouldn't be surprised to find they are the same store in different countries.

The 5 is available at any mower shop here.

Because it's the wrong plug for North America.
Hi Rob

Does location / climate etc really make that much difference?

Yes it does. That is why they have different plugs you can choose from. The 7 seems to do well in the us. Except for when it gets cold up in Michigan, etc.

Thanks Mate

It's pretty warm all year round here.

Our winters are about the same as a Michigan summer.

I accidentally put a 5 in mine when the guy at the mower shop didn't look at the number and just put one over the counter.

Other than that I always run a 7.

Why? Don't tell me I can't run it in the snow, I've been waiting for that since I bought it :) )

I have no idea. If it gets close to freezing in Phoenix, the end of the world is near.

I do know you have to pre-heat your engine head, so it doesn't lock up.

I see, didn't know that was an issue. If I do decide to run it, I'll keep it inside for a few hours before using it, that way it should pretty much be at "room temperature" when starting it. I'm guessing the cold air it will use from then on shouldn't have a negative impact.

I have about 4 months a year when the temperatures are around and below freezing (even 30 below for a few extreme days) so it would suck not to be able to use it for that long.
