If youre the guinea pig I say try the 23mm beadlocks and let us know. My best guess is if they fail at most youll be out a pair of rubber and rim. Theyre relativley cheap used on ebay.
Yes, so here is my question for you sir, the rampage hex measure 22mm. whats the deal. are baja wheels 23mm?

Rampage - 22mm
Proline 1/10 scale Monster Truck rims - 23mm

Baja 24mm
That is correct. You can run 23mm proline rims and tires on the 5b/5t/Rampage (other redcat 1/5s that have the same hex mounting as the ramp) if the clearance fits. You would need 2 rears for the ramp or the front and rears for the 5b/5t. Obviously it has been done to the 5b. I don't know anyone who has done it to the Ramp so its a guess if they will work on the fronts with the wheels turned for steering clearance. But if you want to be the guinea pig........maybe others will follow. The bealdocks 23mm are cheap on ebay.

Man now Im looking at the 23mm 40 series conversion. I am cheap so I want a deal on 1/5 tires/wheels for my 5b but havent found any yet. Im thinking about getting the 23mm adapters and some proline 40 series beadlock (used) for the 5b which will also allow me to try them on the Ramp front and rear. Ill let you guys know. I think the 40 series beadlocks are going to be the best bet for strong wheels/tires but I would not be surprised if they ripped and broke under the Ramps weight.
