They are how the 2nd gear works. The arm on the shift paw grabs those pins when it comes out of the shift paw..

Roberson7805 did you get a chance to go out and set up your transmission on your Rampage today.

Just got done running it. I'm pretty sure it was in 2nd gear the whole time because when it got warmed up a little I opened throttle 100% and think I have loose drive cups somewhere or are now stripped from hard excellaeation, it has a lot more jump off from dead start now. It's slipping then grabbing, slipping then grabbing. So It got dark 15 min later and I don't have the tools on me to fix that part. I will take it home and find out tonight. I did notice that it was somewhere after the transmission is where it's slipping, transmission gears were spinning the whole time.

Btw, got an email from Chinese manufacturer of transmission today. They are upgrading the paw assembly and mailing me another one for free. Will let everyone know how that goes and will have some pics....

Peice of crap still will not start, 1 month now.
best way clear flooded 2 stroke 5th scale: take the 2 screws out that hold the airbox and carb on and put carb to side without even taking any linkage off just let hang to the side, then with carb off simply pull the starter 3-6 times until it fires it, it will start and increase rpm but won't go max rpm just burning the flood out, once it stops, put car & airbox back on screw the 2 screws down and pull starter WITH CHOKE OFF & DO NOT PRIME. It should fire right up, mine did, I tried to deflood it all the wrong ways, until doing it the right way, now no more flooded engine problems, with this technique you can always always get your motor running very easily. Unless your kill switch button is jammed or your needles are way off otherwise, this will do the trick
