Hey all. Here is my new project. Project Green Machine bashing style. This build will be for mostly bashing around with friends. Climbing hills, taking huge air, mud and whatever else gets in it's way. I have had this for 2 months now and I must say I am impressed. Great power and nimble. Starts everytime. So far I have had only 1 problem. The driver side front bearing holder let the screw and heli coil out. I don't know how that happened. From that moment on, I thought lets build it up. I have ordered some parts and will be posting pics and vids of the updates.Hope you guys like my build. :D

I have been putting this Green Machine through the ringer and it keeps asking for more. I have been having that same problem of the screw and heli coil falling out. So I put an order in to 7075. Got the aluminum front bearing holders with new over sized bearing with it. These things are strong. Easy to put on and look great. Did I metion they are strong. Here are some pics.

Here is a pic of the reason why I got the Turtle Racing V2 Pull Start.

There was a lot of mud and a rock (yes, a rock) that got in there somehow. The plastic and corde got so worn that is was not even turning the engine over. Bashing is so much fun.

Here is what it looks like installed. :D The gas tank is now vented but still waiting on filters. I will post pics of that when it is all complete. I can't wait to drive this thing.

Love the design of the V2. The logo is pretty sweet, too.
The V2 is sweet. It was a breeze to put on and it looks very strong. I like how you can clock the handle any direction you want. For me because of the cut out in the body I had to rotate a little to get the handle straight up. So far this build is going very good and I thank everyone who has helped me out on info/locating parts for this build. :D

More parts arrived in the mail today. Here are pics of the Snappy Rc gas vent install.

This was a straight forward install. It takes a little force to get the new plug in the tank but other than that, easy. More pics to come after I bash this for a bit.

Looks clean, dude. The vent line is a little too close to the exhaust, though.
Thanks. From the picture it looks real close but there is about 3 inches between there. I will just zip tie it to the roll cage. Now I have a problem. After starting it up after putting all this on, I get a weird sound from my clutch housing and then the engine stalls. Could my cluch already be bad? I hope not. I don't even have 3 full gallons of gas through this yet.

Take the gear cover off and inspect the gears and plate. The plastic gear plates can crack and cause the gears to bind up.

Does it stall out at idle, or when you give it some throttle? If it stalls out at idle, it could be the clutch spring. Might be broken or stretched.

I looked the whole buggy over and looks good. It does only stall at idle. When I give it gas is when I hear the clutch case then when I go to idle, stalls. This will have to go on the back burner now. Here are some pics of what happened today. This is what happens when you power slide into a corner with a huge rock in your way.
