what are the best tires for my redcat rampage mt v3/4 if i am getting these adapters(please feel free to tell me any better ones as I havent purchased them http://www.vertigoperformance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=40&products_id=269
It depends on what you are running on..

For mainly hard packed dirt and gravel with very little street runs, I run the Proline bow-tie 5b rear tires on Desperado wheels... http://hobbyhobby.com/store/product/273192/1151-13-Bow-Tie-5B-Re-Tires-Desperado-Re-Whls/

For street only I run HPI Tarmac Buster Rib tire Fronts (to save weight) http://hobbyhobby.com/store/product/248734/FR-Mnt-Tarmac-Buster-Rib-Tire-M-Compound-%282%29%3ABaja/ or you could run the rears http://hobbyhobby.com/store/product/248735/R-Mnt-Tarmac-Buster-Rib-Tire-M-Compound-%282%29%3ABaja/

The links are from where I shop local... But they also do mail order... Or you could find them from the sponsors on the upper left of the page...

When you get the adapters... don't forget to get the Aluminum 24mm Wheel nuts for your HPI baja (4) Pewter

Pick up the extended wheel adapters for a few bucks more. Baja wheels do not offset like the MT wheels and the truck will be narrow. The 10mm offset on each side definetely improves the looks and handling.

I'd also recommend Proline Bowties premounted on the deperado rims. Overall they work great no matter where you are. You also need to consider changing your gearing if you are still running the stock 25/35 setup. Alot of guys here run 27/33 after they've moved to a smaller tire. Some guys run 27/33 with the big MT tires, however, they are running high performance engines like the ONB 30.5.

Thank you for information I mainly run on both dirt and bitumen so what tires would be the best

Yes you will see quite a big difference in acceleration and handling. Spend another few bucks and install an 8k clutch spring and it'll be like a whole new car.

but I don't want to spend 200 dollars as I have just recently got the car

is it just as good as a tuned pipe or tuned pipe better

He did not say anything about the pipe he is talking about the clutch shoes and the clutch spring which makes a big deference on take off what a beast. The 8,000 clutch spring will turn it into a new animal also the 31/29 gearing adds some speed.

What I was trying to say it would be better spending the money On the tires then On a 185 dollar tuned pipe correct

The only exchangeable equation between the 'pipe vs tires' question is that one reduces the mass being rotated, and the other one ups the punch/hp. The net gain should be an inverse of each other. With a tuned pipe, you are still going to be working with a fat ass tire, that handles poorly. Get tires before an exhaust.

I demolished my redcat tuned pipe, i'm running a high flow 5T stock black can on my XT until i can afford the pipe.

i personaly(and i did), would upgrade, clutch spring/shoes, tyres, then pipe in that order if money is tight.

I would even concider(and did :p ) buying a 5t highflow muffler like imminentfailure suggested, as you wont damage it while bashing, and it does make a big diffrence compaired to the stock muffler, and for £25 GBP as i live in UK, so id imagen around $50 mark, you cant go wrong.

as for extenders, im running, and i really rate the UberRc extended rear hubs http://www.uberrc.com/product-products/47.html (bare inmind you would need 2 sets to have 4 hubs, and yes you would need to order the wheel nuts) i know they whould be a pain to wait for to arrive for you guys :) but the allen bolt just makes so much more sence then a dowel pin, and the end is covered so dirt wont b filling that hole

thats just my 2 pence
