Thanks. Fg bumper is not a direct bolt on, i have 7075 chassis with 7075 chassis inserts and they are 3cm taller than stock, so they stand out in front of the diff housing.I have drilled that extra space and used the 7075 shock tower by sliding 2 long bolts to fix it to the top of the bumper.

As for those links, IRP makes top notch product. I havent tested the truck yet since i will paint the cage and have some leakage from the gas tank.

A lot of people use those links on their losis and bash the hell out of them with 0 problem. Im guessing they are fine.

They cost a lot tho. 150$ for the turnbuckle and rear link
I hear ya,not cheap but they seem well worth it

$150.00 for 2 pairs sounds about right

always wondered about runnin front upper links, similar to the rear, would hold up,I might have to give it a try,if they can hold up on the Losi they should hold up on an MT,especially runnin only 5t tires with a dropped suspension

what size are the rod ends,5/16" - 3/8" thread?

keep us posted how they work out

cage looks awesome man,did you build it yourself?

is the cage all solid tubing/bar?

how is the left front corner "pull start side" of the cage attached?

No man, did not build it myself.

This is actually the Alloy RollCage upgrade from Redcat. It is attached to the bottom of the wing mount.

I just painted it red

Thanks. Yes check item jj575 at DDM and then add the brass fitting from the scroll down menu.

Make sure you slide the brass fitting into a fuel line for a tighter grip.

The brass fitting of the vent(optional) and return line should be less than 0.5inch

Side view

Those 3 shims to push the CVD pin more inside in the Diff Cup.

No more fear of sliding the pin outside now

1big screw from 1 side only holding the cage instead of 1 from each side.

I had to open a new bigger screw tread from one side since they are opposite.

that looks mean, nice job brotha, like the way you've added the shims,I'll have to keep that in mind, obviously you checked for binding in all suspension travels

one thing you might think of adding is some sort of brace that connects to the both inside rear link locations at the rear shock tower, something simple something similar to I-RC's front shock tower brace, something to bridge the both together to add a bit more strength and support

these buggies ain't light

just a thought

I think this buggy has been fortified a lot. This Cat is very light compared to 5b and other 5th scales (Really). What makes it even better is that the engine is in the middle which gives it even more stability. Too bad im not in the US. Wouls have loved to see this performing vs MCD and other manufacturers

I think im gonna add another similar bumper in the rear section too. Reckless drivers are reckless.

The only upgrade missing is the front upper arm. Im gonna wait Olfart to do something with the front upper plate and upper arm altogether.

I also need a new transmitter, I just burnt my receiver and happens that i sold my M11x last month.

I can only run my baja for now.

Time to get my hands on Futaba 4px

First off, super nice build. Second ,I am working on a front upper plate with just a connecting rod, no arm.
