I'm wondering if these are a waste of money?

I'm thinking of buying bow-ties and desperado's?

But they are twice the cost!

I don't mind if they are worth it tho?

The real HPI wheels have reinforced hubs. The PL's have reinforced hubs, as well. I don't know if the clones have that. I'd go with the real stuff. Definitely worth it.

Anytime, dude! Yeah, I'd rather pay a bit more and not have to worry about durability. You never know what you're going to get with the clone stuff.

ordered the desperatos and bow-ties and a esp mod and ported head kit. im also getting the pitbull tite-bite inner fenders to try out .
