Anyone know if the servo horns that come on the MT V3 will fit the HPI SFL-10MG Servos?

Thanks

The stock servo splines are much larger than what HPI uses. If you want to run a HPI servo I'd just stick with the HPI alloy servo horn. It's pretty much rock solid.

Thanks. I just ordered the MT V3 yesterday from Rob along with several orders from all over the place to make sure I had everything needed and then some just in case items. Didn't think about the servo horns fitting. Have two SFL-10MG waiting for the steering servos to fail from what I read. I was hoping the Redcats would fit and I wouldn't need to pay shipping on servo horns only. Suppose I can find other stuff to add to the order so it is justified. lol

Do you know if the HPI servo splines are the same as the HiTech 805bb? I may later on pick them up and if I can use the alum arm from HPI on them I will spend the extra for the alum arms now.

I found the answer or was at least told that they are not the same size.

Gee,

what all "spare" parts/upgrades did you order? I am compiling my list of purchases and trying to limit them to as few locations as possible. Starting with Rob and then the other advertisers on this forum if I can.

I was ordering parts I needed for a XTM Rail and a LST XXL also. Had to go to different places for that stuff. FOr the Rampage it was only a couple places really. Rob had all the spare parts I was ordering this time. I ordered these items from Rob:

Ordered a Battle Switch from DImension Engineering for a kill/fail safe and have the lights on or off.

Large Scale RC had the best price on a header for the Meilke side mount pipe I needed:

Then got another SFL-10MG from Ebay

I think that was it for the Rampage.

I will order 2 of these tomorrow to upgrade the SFL-10MG final gear to metal. That will give me the two servo arms I need.

I have a couple of other servos to use for the throttle brake and already had another 5b air filter.

I am hoping that will cover it for a while.

Just and FYI about spline sizes:

I read that the HPI splines are the same size as Futaba spline.
