Which engine should I get?

Sorry for yet another thread, but I have found a few options. My budget is about the $200 range. My concerns are dependability, and is my drivetrain going to hold up?? My whole goal is just to make my XT as fast I can with $200. There's no point in throwing a bigger eng. if it's going to tear up my drive train. Like mentioned before, I have the DDM Dominator pipe, and Walbro 998 carb.

#1 Buy the Rovan 30.5cc rebuild kit for $90. With this option I could also get a lightweight flywheel. Only concern with this option is locating torque and clearnace specs for the build.

#2 Buy a built Rovan 30.5cc engine for $190

#3 Buy a CNC Ported Prostock 28.5cc from the O'neil Brothers $219

How much do our HY engines make stock and how many RPM's do they hit? The O'neil Brothers engine is hitting 5-5.5hp and hitting 19,000 RMP's!!

Definitely the OBR!

With a good tune and pipe the stock motors can hit 17,000 rpm. And feel like a good 3.5+ hp. I don't think anyone has actually tested one though..

did the same reasoning, but went with OBR prostock 30.5.

the 2 bolt factor is the issue the hy stock. it can deliver great peak but just won't hold on under pressure and time.
