Whats it worth?

Yes. I haven't drove it in months. I cant keep it in the house because of the gas smell and its a pain moving it around to keep it out of the way. It's listed no where but craigslist. I may clean it up today then get my buddy to take some better pics for me (pro photographer) Not so much that I need him to do anything special. The camera he's got takes some really nice pics. Then I may list it on ebay.

This is what I would expect it would cost to build this package used
TT V1 base chassis + upgrade kit + alum steer mounts, hub carrier, gear plate 350

DDM 26.9cc race port head kit + 8k springs + whole motor w/813 100

DDM dominator side pipe 80

Hitec digital steering servo 40

Ace 1015 throttle/brake servo 18

HPI Baja air filter 13

Futaba 3pm 2.4ghz radio 95

Proline truck body 75

HPI 5t wheel conversion (hubs, tires, rims) 100

Total 871 parted out

Total as a package 700 to 771

If I was interested in it I would change servos, headkit, bearings, and RX batt to my liking but those items are cheap so I would say its worth $700 to 771 as a complete package.

But there would also be selling fees and shipping to consider depending on where you sell it so the $ leftover for you would be less.

However as stated everyone knows with any hopped up RC you get more $ parting it out

Are you selling it for sure any where else besides craigslist? Id be interested but I ordered a V3 about a week ago.
Not sure how you figured out the ACE DS1015 servo is $18.00 they run close to $100.00 if not more now days.

The engine as it sit's could easily be sold for $140-$160.00 seeing that most stock 23/26cc's sell for $100-$140 in the same condition.

IF the economy was better I would expect to see a lot more activity, you are waiting for that 1 or 2 guys that want a hopped-up rig for a little more than a factory new one. I believe his prices are fair, but think people will only jump on it if the price was rediculously low.

I think I paid $100 for the servo. It was originally going to be the steering servo for my truggy but I lost interest in it. It is tax season and lots of people have been shopping at the hobby shop with the h&r block credit cards...

Yep you hit the nail on the head. I think his price is fair too. I hope he doesn't get gouged when/if he sells it. He custom built it to his specs but Im not him. Some people (like me) would want a slightly different setup so the things that were very valuable to him are less valuable to them. Thats part of the reason you get more $ when you part it out. Engine and servo are worth more to the people who are looking for that specific engine and servo but not everyone wants that combo in their custom RC which would subtract from the price because they have to change it.

I can get used 23 and 26 cc CYs complete with clutch, 668 carb, 8k spring and HPI filter used and shipped on ebay for less than $100. I can get a fast NEW hitec digital MG for 50-60 or used for about $30-35. Im not even interested in buying it I got that v3 on the way. Id gave him $775-800 shipped if he caught me before I ordered the V3. I like his truck a lot. He asked how much each of us thought it was worth and that was my estimate.

Chucked, can I ask how come you didnt respond to my wanted ad a couple weeks ago before I ordered the V3? This is exaclty what I was looking for. Not one person contacted me with a Ramp they'd like to sell me so I got a new one from Rob.

I just very recently decided to sell it. I like it, it looks awesome sitting in my shed with all my other toys. People are always asking about it. But its worth to me more to sell it and build another shed.

He has come up some in PM's. But not much. I'd let it sit before I sold it that cheap! I don't need the money.
