Upgrade kit fuel grommet

It seems like its a little smaller??? what does that do?

becouse they thought the stock one might leak around were the fuel line goes in. mainly if you change fuel line to something better. i needed it when i changed the fuel lines on the tt, but havent needed it for the mt with the stock fuel lines. and the supplied nipple is supposed to be better as well, but it didnt work for me. i ditched the fuel cap guts and put a vent line like we did on the 5b's..
