After my last bash session about a week ago I decided to do a complete tear down. Tore down the diffs, cleaned, repacked. Then did a complete paint and polish on the rest of the car. All aluminum parts where D-anadized then sanded to a matte finish matching the painted plastic parts. I use Krylon matte aluminum spray paint on well cleaned, lightly sanded parts. Ive used this paint on several cars with great longterm results. Ive included a pic of where it sits right now. Few more things and she will be ready to roll again...thanks for looking..

Look'n great! I like the greased lightning also. Not quite as toxic as the oven cleaner.

The oven cleaner is a lot stronger. I still use it to get into the stubborn corners where the anodizing is thicker.

Looks awesome! I tried bleach on the anodize and it just faded a little. Tried the oven cleaner and some parts were more stubborn than others but it finally came off.

Doubled up stock shock tower inserts. Deanadized also. 1/4in thick. Should be plenty strong. Low budget lol...
