What would be the best paint to paint engine cover and fan cover? I thought about krylon fusion but maybe engine paint would be better with the heat?

I didnt fully remove mine. I cut it down to cover the coil still. Its only about a half inch thick now. Still blows maaadd cool air across the head. I figured it keeps the heat in more then help direct the cool air across...

Me to I've cut and reshaped a few to my own liking. I drill out the top to get access to the head bolts so I can check the head bolts to make sure they are not coming loose. It also helps to get some of the grass out that finds it way in there.
