My XB-E build

I've had my XB-E roller for a while now. The electronics are ordered from Kershaw. I will be using his motor mount with the stock spur. I bought 11 and 12T pinions and I've having the stock 10T pinion bored out to 8mm. I am going with a Leopard 5692 730 KV on 12S through a FighterCat Racing 16S 300A buggy controller.

I widened the stock battery trays to hold my Zippy 6S 5000mah 40C batteries but they won't work as I didn't take into account the amount that the side guards protrude in. I fabbed up some flat plates to hold the battery with super velcro and velcro straps.

I'm using a FlySky FS-GT3B radio. 2S 800mah LiPo to power the servo direct and the BEC. That little LiPo will fit nicely where the stock ESC was.

I am still running with the stock diff fluid.. And only had the front diff case go on me... Too many jumps / or hits to the head.... lol.. The rear diff case is still stock (probably the only thing left on it that still is stock) lol

Whats everyone running for diff fluid? Is anyone seeing the breaking / melting of the rear gear box bearing area like the gassers?
6k front 4k rear when I run the 8th scale tracks. I used to run heavier but needed more off power steering navigating around those tight 1/8 corners. When I run the oval I'll run 15k all around. It's nice having 2 sets of diffs on hand. Easy just to switch em out depending on where I'm running.

Oh, and I've had no problems with my rear diff on my XBE. I've pounded on it harder than my XB trying to break it. My XB would have been through a half dozen diff cases so far but my XBE is still going good. The bearings are starting to get a little sloppy though.

Got esc?Sure is a beefy thing. 8 guage wires all around, built in anti-spark lead, 4 strand wire for programming and firmware updates, and (3) 80V 330uF caps.
