i am wanting to get a fresh set of bearings for the gear plate (BLUE MT). this is an upgrade on the XB ,which is an alloy plate AND oversized bearings.

on the last swap i failed to measure and since lost them into a vast bucket of dead bearings where there is no chance of correct choice . and breaking it down to measure will be a last resort.

the bearing sizes ? and order separate from vxb

or the PART # for the bearings ONLY, i know there are different sizes for the MT gear plate set up and not seeing that on any specific part # .

this is the original part # for MT gear plate WITH the bearings,

# 704568 Blue Aluminum Gear Plate with Bearings.

any intel on this would indeed save a wrench session. thanks

found the "one i saved " 6000z , thats 26x10x8 assuming thats correct

one of 6 including layshaft, this one is the larger against the bell,

maybe the rest are 22X8x7 ???

saw the 26x10x8 (6)

seems there are 2 different sizes within the kit that came with the MT plate.

ok the breakdown on the MT gear bearings, so far

6000zz against the bell, 26x10x8 (1)

608zz everything else , 22x8x7 (4)

the lay shaft(1) MAY be something different, possibly 6900zz 22x10x7

the pack that came with the MT gear plate had 6000zz, 608zz, and 6900zz

very confusing with the shaft AND width dimensions switching around... the quantity is even more confusing , i have (3)6900zz and (3) 6000zz left in the pack.

so looking at 3 different bearing packs best i can tell

and to further confuse, 6900z is 22x10x6 (at vbx) , but the ones(6900z) i have are 22x10x7. and by the lash present seems 22x10x8 would actually be better.

confused but coping
