Worked on the DR tonight, fixing the problem with the tie rod coming out of the steering horn. Coming up from 1/10 I took it for granted the screw on the tie rod screwed into the plastic - not so. It goes into a nut which fits into a hex hole on the steering horn. Which before mentioned nut went "bye bye" with a loud snapping noise. It wasn't something I hit after all.
Yeah, a $.50 part. But, I found the outer bearing is going bad while taking things apart, so I'll be ordering replacements and a couple spares. Also I can put the info here so someone else can avoid my goof.
And I have some spare parts now.
