Keeping water out of tires?

I run my stuff all winter, what I do to keep the water out of the foams is I seal the holes in the rim with shoe-goo, and drill holes int he tires. I have been doing this with my nitros for years, I just did it to my Redcat MT. I didn't take any pictures, but you get the idea.
