my tt runs the stock 23cc with a side dom. ** full mod obr 35cc going in !!! **

my mt turned desert truck runs the stock 23 with a 28.5 kit and sprint77 modded dom.

at some point I may try a modded/race ported 27.2 or something but really, my ramps are pretty darn fast with what they have now. I may change my mind after going to the scrapyard and seeing the "fast" largescales run. i've got some mooman modded diff cups so more power may be in order.

My favorite is the 28.5 unnported because its simple cheap and powerful but not too powerful, has TQ and RPM. I like the 27.2 ported or unported, and the power it makes but its not my favorite because it costs more $ to build.

I voted 28.5 for the same reason, cheap and simple... plenty of power with a good pipe but doesn't rip the drivetrain apart.

Well Ive never ran a 23cc in a Rampage. I bought the 28.5 headkit on my first Ramp with the side dom and it ran really well. I would think thats plenty of power without the risk of ripping the driveline in two. On the MT I had a 29cc OBR race port and a Jetpro, was a little sluggish off the line because of the tire/pipe combo but once it got on the pipe it woke up. Ive had other motors including a DS/Sikk 26cc I got from Catchaser, and quite honestly it was a powerhouse. I currently don't have an engine in my Truggy, Im waiting on a 30.5CC OBR Full mod and the work to be completed on my 35cc Full mod. Im not in a big rush considering where I mainly run at is a big muddy soup right now :D

I had to vote for the 23cc, since it's all I have. I do have a 26 head kit sitting in a box brand new though. Once the 23 is gone, that'll be the next update. With as often as I get to run, and having 2 other large scales, it'll be another year probably. :(

missed a few, these are what i've come up with over the years for the standard size motor.

bore stroke CC

32 28 22.518 CY/zen 23cc

32 29 23.323

32 30 24.127

34 28 25.421 CY/zen 26cc

34 29 26.329 cc pro mod

34 30 27.237

35 28 26.939 CY 27cc

35 29 27.901

35 30 28.863 CY 29cc

36 28 28.500 GPL290

36 29 29.518

36 30 30.536

i've run the 22.5, 28.5, and a raceport 25.4 in the TT and for running our track, the rp 25.4 is my choice. for bashing, i'm building some form of a 36mm bore, just haven't decided on the stroke yet.

I really like the power from my 4 bolt Zenoah OBR 27.2 race port with the lightened piston. I had the 28.9 race port but my 27.2 would make it sh!#.

I took my 23 converted to 28.5 out for a spin last night( first time since conversion) needless to say I am very pleased and feel it gave me what I was looking for which is that extra punch all the way around without trashing the drivetrain. I bought the OBR race ported 28.5 set up. I will not be going over this size anytime soon as I can see no reason to.
