Can someone tell me about the X-CAN exhaust?

Which pipes for the X-CAN 3" or 6"?

Also someone mentioned gutting the stock exhaust, how do you do that?

Beginner questions!

well the 6'' is the best i think

that will get it past the shock tower but not past the bumper

to get the stuff out of the stock pipe...when you unbolt it you can reach in with a peir of plyers and smash it and yank, its that simple:cool:

I don't suggest the 6" anymore. A few o fus have had problems with vibration loosening them that long. I think 3" is the longest you should go.

no the stock pipe is reduced. less flow = less power

but you can get a bit of power if you get the spark skreen out of the stock can

The Redcat tuned pipe works well, you will see an increase in power.....but it won't last long, it's a good design but made from cheesy material plus it's extremely loud if that's a concern.

the rampage tune pipe has best power...but only good for one race:confused:

i think the x can is the best for the price but you can't get the same torque that you get from the tune pipe.. but it is better then the stock can:cool:

There is mods that can be done to the RD Logics pipe and the HPI SS pipe to fit the truck or buggy, the RD Logics is pretty cramped on the buggy wing, but it is a good fit and good performance when you need to worry about to much noise . RD logics pipe is fairly quiet. Both will run much better than a X-can.
