Texas Dirt Track Racing 2-21-2009

[Sprint 77]

FlintMan , and myself are inviting any and all large scale RC cars to come out for a day of fun and Run at the Quitman Speedway dirt track 2 miles south of SR 154 on Hwy 14 In the beautiful piney woods of east Texas. The track will be watered and packed for high speed fun, there is room for 5 wide racing action for this is normaly a go cart track. I have arranged to set aside this day with RC only cars day. The fun will start Saturday at 10:00 and run till we run out of parts or dark. The fee is nothing nota absolutly free, If we have good attendance and want to start racing a small fee will be charged per entry for the lights and go towards a RC dedicated Drivers stand. Camping at world renowned bass fishing Lake Fork can make the perfect enexpensive weekend.

real funny. havent seen them scorching temps for bout 4 months. have fun at the track. im expecting more snow!!

first dirtbike race of the year is sunday, 20 degrees and snow, yeee haawww.

Got the 5B with Sprint cage and outlaw wing ready to tear some oval up , just got thru porting up the cyl on the GP 290 and trimming the flywheel down too going to try out the Hostile 56 18 combo she should realy sing in the corners of the 600 ft driveline track.

TEMPTING .... snowed, windy and cooolllddd here today. racing dirtbikes tomorrow or i'd throw the rampage in the truck and start driving. I could use some set up / build help with the mt anyway. it's the drive home that would suck.


sounds like a great time though, enjoy running your cars, i'll bet they are screaming down that long straight.
