Spark plug color?

Took my spark plug out after running yesterday. Snapped a picture

so you guys could take a look. Is it a good color? When I first got

the truck it had a loose head and the idle, low and high speed screws

were all screwed up. The plug was coming out a dark wet oily black

color:eek:.

The ceramic portion of the plug in the picture should be a tan color. White is bad, that mean too lean. It looks a bit rich but thats ok. Should take a few high speed runs then stop, pull the plug and check the color of it. This is how I always did it anyhow.

I tried to use the picture that best represents the color but it is a little lighter

than it looks.

The truck seems to idle real good. Don't know if that has anything to do with

the boost bottles since I've never run without them. I don't have anything to

compare it to. It's too much hassle to remove them just to see the difference.

If ain't broke, don't fix it....lol
