Run times??

Who long does the stock hump pack last on the xt?? I find my self charging it every night after a good run cuz I don't have killsafe from killer rc just yet.

Ive never run one out and I have a kill switch... after a couple of tanks of fun I re-charge it because I don't want to run the risk of running it down.

Well, I am pretty sure after reading all the things I have read here that most folks do the exact same thing... some have a voltage meter on theirs- mine's not that snazzy... ha ha ha

someone just answered that the other day, I want to say it was 4.5ish. Search the recent electronics forums and I am sure you will run across it. The post was about servos glitching.

I recommend charging the night before instead of after a run. The nickle battery have a slow discharge even when not in use.

You are going to want your pack to be at least 6v or a little above like 6.5v etc... You may be able to run on 5.8v etc.. but I wouldn't advise it. I don't usually run my truck if the receiver pack is below 6v just because I don't want a runaway.

done!!! I went to hobbytown and picked up a venom 5000mah hump pack!! but whats the run time on that??? I would have asked at the store but the guys that work there doesn't like me because I run a "redcat"!! lol

Lol. You'll have plenty of runtime, dude. If you want to keep track of it, you could try running a volt meter.
