I don't think i have seen this discussed much. But does anyone adjust their pop-off when they change to a higher flowing air filter? My stock 990 had a pop off around 20psi. I was having a little bogging with a new air filter so i clipped the spring until i was around 14 psi and it helped tremendously.
I assume others on the forum are familiar with carburetors. These walbro carbs are pretty much the same as jetski carbs and pop off is definity something that needs to be checked and played with.
I use a home made pop off meter for my jetskis. Works great for these little carbs too!
