new body fitment.

I just bought i new body for my rampage. Since i bought the truck used, i didnt know how it came new. Anyways i had to slot the front to clear the bumper mounts. Is this normal? This is with the body mounts all the way up. Well its one screw hole from the top because all the way up seemed like it would make it weak. Also, what has everyone done to clear the ddm side pipe. The body touches the pipe and im worried about it melting the body.

i have a ddm side pipe and body wont melt i have one and has not melted the body

My pipe was touching the body also so what I did was made a new front bracket that sticks out 3/8" more than the stock bracket. Then I just pulled on the pipe to bend it to the new position. With the body on the pipe doesn't get any closer than 1/4" from the body.
