Did some mods to the Desert Rat body. Once I finished painting and mounting
the body I realized that it was much wider than the stock redcat MT shell.
Because of the width I knew rocks and debris flying all over the engine area
would be a problem. I decided to make some inner fenders for the front and
rear wheel wells. They are made from thin molded plastic covered with vinyl
tape(for color). They don't add much weight to the shell at all and are quite
rigid. I made them so they would stop most large rocks and pebbles but still
allow good airflow. If these work well I will make them out of lexan to match
the body better.
Tell me what you guys think?...
