issue with kill switch

I got a kill switch free with my Chimera order,


I bought from rcpitstop ( RCD racing switch) . I installed the switch and now the engine shuts off in a few seconds.


Does anyone have an idea why? Can someone help me?

Is your battery full charged? It will shut off when it signal low voltage.

If your batt is fully charged remove the killswitch to see if it stays running or try this turn reciver off and start it wait a few minutes then turn the reciver on and see what happens

Rec. bat is full charge and Transmitter bat is full charge, I have flysky FS-GT3B with fail safe.

When I disconnect kill switch engine runs fine.

what things can I try to remedy the problem?

You talking about the failsafe that came with your truck if yes that may be the problem nobody uses that

how do you disable the stock failsafe

Although i like mine to go to full brake. (although means nothing WHEN the servo fries... so get the kill switch working!)

Double check the wires on the failsafe. Make sure the plug is seated firmly in the receiver and none of the wires are loose or stray strands shorting. I was having intermittent problems from the connector not being seated all the way in the receiver once.

The factory spark plug can also trigger a shut down. They have poor insulators. I always swap it out for a NGK.

I purchased some NGK plugs from DDM.

I just got 2 NGK regular plugs and 2 iridium plugs from oriellys

I'm trying my kill switch again , no luck when you kill it either with ch3 or the kill switch on the car the light should turn red right ?mine stays solid green .

Yep ,I thought it would work with it from all the posts I read

I hooked the original transmitter that came with my Chimera and when I turn off the power to my transmitter it goes to full throttle and the light on the kill switch turns red

That full throttle issue is the fail safe. That channel needs to be reversed.
