I just might.... I put the aluminum into a vice with rubber pads and marked where I wanted the bends. It was my first attempt and I probally will make another in time. I would like to make another but I need some more tools to make it look better.

That looks great, nice work for basic tools.....in fact, for any tool.

I just installed my new HBZ roll bar (Thanks Rob) and Thanks to varga I had an idea of what to do with the stock cage. I know it's only plastic but it really stiffened things up.

Yeah, it was pretty simple and the guys down at Dentsport garage welded my pipe and brace......they race everything 1:1 and had a blast beating on her......and ironically the "suspension" guy barrel-rolled her like six times and ended up breaking a 6mm shock shaft!

Looks good I'm glad I could give you ideas to improve your Ramp. I plan on making another roll cage again with changes that I want. Does anyone want this roll cage once I make my new one?

when your ready to get rid of it you should put it up in the for sale section. i could use one for my mt, but it wont fit with the body i run.

That wont fit under our MCD bodies? I was thinking about making a play for that cage, it's really nice!

his is about an inch higher then stock(looks that way) and the rear brace bar comes too far back from the roof plate so it will bee under the bed. my body mounts(whats left of them) are on the last hole and i still hit the roll cage.

My cage is the same height, but you are right it does come farther back than the original cage. When I make the next one I will start the bend earlier so it will fit underneath the MT body better. To make this cage work all you have to do is cut two slots in the mt body for the cage in back.
