Ok, it's 11:15pm and my wife is asleep so why not post what I started today.

I got a clear TT body from Restomod so I need to get it painted. I only have

three colors to work with and I have not decided on what to design. It needs

to be simple but still look good since everybody liked my first attempt this one

can't be too bad or my rep will suffer(what rep?)...lol

The three colors are silver, white and black. I may have a little red too.

These colors are what's left over from the Desert Rat paint job. I'm not

buying anymore paint so I can save a couple bucks, I'm broke. I'll try and

come up with something that does not look all that bad... :D

Started brushing the Liquid Mask on tonight. I'll give it four to five coats and

then let it sit a few days. That lets it dry enough to give me good lines when

cutting out the design.

Finished!

Had a couples hours to kill late last night so I decided to paint the TT body. I wanted something simple and this is what I ended up with. The TT shell was a little bit of a pain to work with because the lexan is too thin. That makes it hard to cut the design out since it is flexing so much. I didn't do any lettering this time because I just don't think the body is going to last long due to thinness. I had less paint than I thought so I used a combination of Pactra and Rust-Oleum, whatever gets the job done...lol

I have an HPI wing on the way so it should look better once I fit it on.

I still have some over-spray to remove but here's the finished product...

Hope you guys like it... :D

Thanks guys...

I should have checked how much paint I had before starting. Working with that Rust-Oleum is a pain in the butt. Sprayed some Pactra pearl white before applying the black got me a nice gray charcoal color that looks great in the sun. I'm going to apply duck tape all inside the body to stiffen it up a little and hopefully it will help make the shell last longer... :D
