The square's have a dome on one side that should be facing the plate. Do you have a square on backwards?? It shouldn't matter where the 25's go

see how top gear is flush where square is and thicker width the bottom two have ridged squares sticking up and thinner width. which go where ? didn't notice there was a difference when I removed them. View attachment 7530 they all are the 25 tooth gears 001.jpg

OK I see what your saying.. The flush one is most likely your D gear and the other 2 are C & A.. The D gear takes the most abuse.

d gear? which is that? I have gear for the clutch bell shaft, one for the brake shaft and the free spinning one which has 25 and 35 tooth . so which is what?

The thick Flush one will go on the break shaft and the other 2 just pick a spot for them..the lutch bell gear is “ A” there is a sticky with the diagram in one of the sections for the mt at the top of a page.

There is definately something wrong on that B/C shaft.

Did you leave a shim out?

I don't know if anyone else will help . when I first got my mt I asked a lot question now people ignore me and wont answer. its funny cause if you look back when some senior members were new they asked a lot questions too and nobody ignores them. I thought this site was for questions when I didn't know the answers but starting to feel like this site doesn't stand up for what it is here for Questions and Answers !!!
