Futaba 3PK With Fasst

I just installed the Futaba 2.4GHz Fasst control system in my RC’s What a radio the range is awesome. Had to go with all digital servos to run in the HRS mode. I was just wondering if the pull out antenna is needed or does the module antenna over ride that one so I can just remove it ?????

one of my local guys running the 3PM here leaves his antena coiled up in the radio box. he gets around 200 yrds plus before it failsafes.


while you could do this, i do suggest you uncoil the antenna wire and have it out of the radio box at the minimun.

I intend to purchase a Futaba 3PM 2.4GHz FAAST transmitter soon. Please what type of digital servos are you using for your rampage? Pics?


Can you manual choose between which mode you want to run on? PPM or HRS? in the situation where you are only using analog servos?

I'm using the HS5745MG for steering and the HS5965 MG for throttle and brake. You can switch modes very easy. HRS mode you must run digital servos. PPM for analog. Awesome system. I just purchased a receivers for my RC boats also. I think I'll run all my toys with this one radio. Pretty sweet set up.

Enjoy it. The 4PK is awesome from what I've read. Probably one of the best control systems on the market. Can't wait to try it in my boats !!!!!
