Nice choice's

You picked the right kv for that motor and a 6c pack. Start with the 10t pinion that came with the XBE and order the 48t spur gear when you get the new motor mount. Work your way up on the pinion gear until the motor gets warm or you get scared.

I am STILL running the stock electronics with a CC1717 on 6c. Just make sure your steering is not tight( sometimes the factory gets it wrong), your servo should last awhile.

Are you planing on some kind of cooling fan for the Leopard? If so, let us know how that works out. I think alot of people will be running the same set-up.

The Motor mount will be avalible some time next week.

ordered leopard, now they are out of stock..... waiting 2 more weeks grrrrrr
Did you try Kershaw Designs? I bought mine from him. Be forewarned, mine came with an 8mm shaft. You have to specify if you want 6mm or 8mm. I did not and got the 8.

Most of the Baja springs will work on the original Rampage. You might have some luck using some of those.

The pinions are made of 7075 aluminum and the set screw is 6X1mm, black oxide.

I have affectionately named my XBE the "Money Pit". All new stuff, had two short runs with the new motor and the HW ESC decided to play Roman candle. Time for a new ESC, gonna just bite the bullet and buy the Castle XL. Sorry to all the people I promised video, but that isnt happening yet.
