I just want to confirm with you guys what else is needed in order to install the DT1 Large air filter:

http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.8283/.f

I searched and saw that a V-stack is needed like this one:

http://www.davesmotors.com/s.nl/c.885035/n.1/it.A/id.4363/.f

and possilby longer carb bolts, can someone confirm if the longer bolts are needed or the stock bolts will do? Anyone else running this filter? post a pic if you can? thanks.

Or should I just do the linkage flip and run the HPI baja filter? :)

On my XB, That is what I installed. You will have to move the antenna to the left about 1.25" I had two v-stacks. the short one would not clear the choke -- stock 30cc engine-carb. The long one you posted will clear the choke. Yes, the stock bolts will work. I also replaced the plastic intake manifold with a alloy part-came with two tefelon gaskets- Also, the two stage dti filter is slightly smaller than the three stage- more clearance. The Baja filter? have not ran one yet, This may be a better choice for all I know. I sprang for the 990 carb, seens to have better fuel nozzles than the stock set up.- shure runs better.

I went with longer bolts because only like 2 threads engage on the block after you go to the DDM one inch. I've ran the same setup you are looking at since tank # 2.

This is an old Thread but I have a question. I swapped filter set-ups to try something new on the XB. I bought a TGN V-Stack and the DTI Triple Flow Filter. My question is about the V-Stack. The TGN stack has an O-Ring on the back to seal it against the carb. Does this mean I don't need a V-Stack Gasket...

Thanks in Advance... :D
nope it dosen't, u still need the gasket, at least I did.
