Brakes

As I am reassembling the truck I got a new brake system. I have all the metal work in place but I can't manually get the cam system to squeeze the pads. When the engine is running is there a difference in the gap?

Thanks

Did you reinstall the brake adjustment screws? They are the 2 small grub screws on the pinion mount(50111). They take the slack out.

The 50111 grub screw is the most overlooked screw in the kit! Most folks that have not done a complet dissasemble have no clue they are even there. To add to your topic also look at the 2 pice layshaft and make sure its snug together..That can cause issues in the break area if its loose.
