Well, after tearing down the Ramp to remake a new rear body mount I found my right rear shock binding. I took it off and disassembled to see what the deal was. I found out that the shock shaft nut had pulled through the top piston and lodged into the lower piston half. This made the upper piston come off with the nut lodged half way down inside the lower piston. How the lower did not split is beyond me. Hopefully the HPI shocks work as well as they do on my Baja. Now about the spring retainer rubbing, has anyone tried to make a bushing or spacer to go over the shaft at the bottom with a "stop" so the retainer doesn't rub? I am going to try and fab something and post it if it works. I don't think it should be too difficult.
