I've found my front brace is in the way on the XB-E with my motor. I was thinking: would I really need that part? Can it live without? Perhaps too much flex? Are there alternatives?

What part of the motor is it touching? I have modified my plastic one in the past.....But yes you need most of it......there is a alloy version that may solve your issue.

It is touching the side wall of the motor. Looking at the part, it has small thick enforcement, I'll skim that away first and see how it does. Do you have a part # for the alloy version?
