Wondering how often do clutches need replacing and also if there are better material clutches / springs that make them last more? How to tell a clutch needs replacing?

I bought a pricy but, nice 8 shoe race clutch that cost a little over a hundred bucks and, it have gone through well not sure how many gallons but, it is still running without having to replace any part of it. Engages much better as well.
I have the 32cc but, I think the 30cc is the same shaft. Let me check it, and find the link.Do you have a link to this item and is it compatible with the 30cc
