Wheel Adapters needed?

Got a question

Why is everyone buying the wheel adapters? See below the picture of the wheel hexes that came on my Chimera EP Pro I just picked up.

It looks like a standard 24mm hex, no?

ahh got it.

I thought mine may have been different, like the old square hubs of the XB-E

Thanks, just placed an order.

Are these the silver ones like on your site, or are these black anodized like seen elsewhere?

Hey Rob, got the wheel adapters mounted and man are those tolerances tight.

What do you recommend for tools when I need to eventually get them off?

I used a pair of channel locks and a sponge to avoid scratching, but i know there is a better way.

To push the pin out and to pull them off the hub.

Also - where to get extra o-rings? What are the sizes? Two were broken during install

Thanks.

If they were tight, it was probably excess anodize. You knocked off the excess by getting them on.

Pushing the pin out, you can use a screw and lightly tap them out.

For the o-ring, it is a 7/8 OD Buna. Ace hardware, or Home depot has them. Some people use black electrical tape and find it easier.
