Vertigo wheel adapters

After installing these adapters with my new wheels, I notice that there is a little bit of slop when I pick one side up and wiggle the wheel in and out. It did not have this with the stock hubs/wheels on. I would say about .5-1mm in play. Is this amount okay, or should I try to get some shims on the axle?

I can't view your link...requires a login.

So it looks like we need a little washer/shim on there. I wonder if the local hardware store has anything that thin.

Is it "okay" to drive with that slop? Will the axles and shafts get worn out or get stressed quicker?
