It does include the basic tools to work on the truck but they are not the ideal ones. If I were you I would find some metric ball ends at a local hardware or hobby store. You will definitely need them. For instance.....the lower left screw on the pull start would be nearly impossible to get to without a LONG ball end. You can get some good sets at Harbor freight www.harborfreight.com. I bought the 96645-0vga they are nice and long and cover all of the sizes you will need. Do a search on there for ball end hex on their site.

I just looked at that hex set... Damn i wish i saw that before i made a order from sears... I like the little stand up holder also...

I have a selection of hex wrenches, both L shape and straight with a handle. It looked as if a really long one was required to take the head off the motor.
