Regular oil vs synthetic oil / 2 stroke

Breaking in a new motor with petroleum base oil vs synthetic i heard is better because its thicker and lubes critical parts during breakin vs synthetic, can someone give any feedback on this...im running just 1 gal through with pennzoil 2 stroke air cooled oil then going to switch to klotz r50 synthetic

@Petrolheadz100 it's a personal preference really. I've known people who use regular oil during breakin and those that have always used synthetic oil during break-in. The most important thing is using a good ratio to protect the engine. Unless you're running a modified high end engine I wouldn't worry to much.
