I've been facing continuous issues with XB-E spur gear pins .. I broke more than three of them and I wasn't even going that hard.
I have one redcat rampage XB-E and Maverick Vader XB-E .. though i might have better luck with the other brand name loool
anyway I have the following setup on these cars
Redcat Rampage XB-E
- Leopard 5692 730Kv motor with kershawdesigns mount
-original spur gear
-14T pinion
-Hobbywing ESC with this setup .. throttle= 100% brake =75% reverse=50%
- 6S lipo battery.
====================================
broke three spur gear pins
====================================
Maverick Vader XB-E
-Leopard 5692 1090kv motor with 7075 motor mount.
-CC XL2 ESC
-11T pinion
-4S lipo x2 batteries
=====================================
managed to destroy the spur gear
=====================================
the maverick currently on standby waiting for the new spur gear.
the redcat is waiting for new pin for the spur gear
I don't know I find the design of the spur gear is kind of bad and they should have used a screwed or bolted spur gear instead of the short pin which they are using in their current setup
