There has to be a better way to install the battery pack here? I can't even get to the 4th screw because the carb is in the way?

Get your self a ball end hex driver. That makes it easier. I leave my charge leads outside the box. That way I'm only opening it when it's time to add or replace components.

Thanks

Good call...I guess I will screw it back down and leave it hanging out?

Also, I am prepping to install the kill switch. Assume I need to find the stock failsafe and remove it?

It normally does not come pre-installed.

Looks like this.

OK so with the MT V3 and the new killerbee kill switch I noticed there is no soldering which is great as it replaces your stock kill button. My question is where do I connect the killerbee to my radio receiver....I see an open slot for bind/ch3 but not sure what that does..

Yes I should work in that 3rd channel slot. Since the stock radio is only a 2 channel you can kill the motor by shutting of the radio.

Re: Receiver Battery Pack for MT

I stopped using that 4th screw a long time ago..lol

Also, it is helpful to cut a notch on the center side of the radio box to route the killer wire..I also cut a notch for the battery wire

Re: Receiver Battery Pack for MTKillerbee Superbee killswitch installed and fits in the stock receiver box. Per rcdads suggestion I notched out to allow my battery charging cable to be external. I also notched for the kill switch cable. Also installed the DDM Dominator pipe. Was gonna wait to run a few tanks on the stock pipe but my free time is very limited. Wish I could fire it up to test tonight but the neighbors might get pissed lol. Still need to confirm dip switch settings on the kill switch as my receiver has a bind/ch3 spot but transmitter has no 3rd channel control that I can tell. I know it will work with 2 channel when I turn off the transmitter but need to confirm. My brother is getting his MT tomorrow with all the same hopups and if all goes well we will be filming a multipart video walk through of prerun checklist items as well as superbee and ddm dominator pipe install on the MT V3. Just wanna give back to this generous forum! Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 via TapaTalk
