Yeah anyone paying that price for lipo's is Nutz, it's like when castle came out with the brushless conversion for the baja, all the how too and demo vids had to rep Max Amps, which in my opinion is another over priced battery

Turnigy lipos are great and pretty cheap too. I've gotten the nano tech ones and they are great for the price

There are plenty of batteries out there that are all the same just "re-badged" and sold as name brand or brand-x. The unsuspecting consumer may pay top dollar for the same battery that hobbyking sells. Just my 2cents.
