I havnt been around much...figured id would dust off the xt as I broke a dif cup last summer. just hadnt gotten around to fixing it. You know how it goes once you start ripping it apart you figure you might as well upgrade some other parts.

here is some more pics. I found a issue with the Redcat aluminum chubs not working with the 7075 RC front arms. Dougs hooking me up with some of his CHubs.

Mr Dougs CHubs came in from 7075rc ...which look great. Had to use these as the Alloy RedCat ones wont work with his lowers. New issue is the upper arms I was going with were DGI's but guess what they hit the top kingpin screw. So need to solve for that now. Its no fault of 7075rc's but I do wish the top mount hole was 1/8 to 1/4 inch higher. I might try seeing if i can find a alternate king pin screw and grind down the bottom outer radius of the heim joint. Hate to use the Redcat upper arms they are just so weak looking in design. JD

If you go with 7075 or Redcat aluminum replacement you may want to upgrade the adjustment/screw linkage also. I have heard that when you switch from plastic to aluminum that becomes the weak point do to lack of flexibility. I am fairly sure MDC makes a titanium part that will fit.

see some things have changed around here. haven't been on due to a crazy summer scheduled. I was cleaning out the man cave and saw the poor 'ol xt sitting in the corner in a box.

well she has been pulled out and will be finished this winter.
Ordered
upper A arms (7075rc)
chassis (7075rc)
Savox SA-1230sg
Savox SV-0235mg
Killer RC 7200mAh 7.4 Lipo
imaxRC B6AC balance charger
Killer RC wire pull start cable

once 7075rc gets diffs back in stock I will order those.

Waiting on differentials to be in stock with 7075rc...but I did start reassembling the suspension just to make sure everything fit. Hmm trying upload pics from my phone but it says they are to large.

don mind the crappy table. Its a old coffee table I have up in the man cave. I am about to start a build on a dedicated project room. where I will have cupboards and a proper counter with storage. Plus I do reloading and PC work.

Nice build you have there! I like it! Like you said, get the aluminum diff housing to solve that weak point. Another one is the plastic center diff mounts.

What engine and pipe?

Looking good!

Thanks...I already have the aluminum center bearing retainers. As for the motor I still have the stock 30.5 with a few bolt on's. Lightened flywheel and finned clutch plate. upgraded clutch with 10k spring. Also have a jetpro side pipe. I would say that minus the engine 90% of this has been upgraded from the stock version.

I may order an OBR full mod 340. Also been playing with the idea of a RCMAX but most likely stick with OBR being in the US.

thanks.

I just wish I could get my 7075RC diffs...that's really what has held me back for completing this. Its originally what had me shelve it last year.

Last I head from him was he said he would have a bunch done this month.....

It makes me think more and more of getting a losi or a HPI for the after market support.

I digress...waiting patiently.
