The pinion gear connected to the clutch bell at the end has nut and washer but has come loose a couple times on me. How tight does this have to be because if you tighten all the way the drive train gets stiff abd wont turn. Any suggestions ?

Yes sir, there is a lip on the little block inside the pinion gear that has to Grub screws for some reason that little lip is being eaten Away by rubbing on the bearing although it sits on the inner race and Spins anyone know why this happens

use new nylok nuts- ahardware store should have them. do not actually run any of those nuts -clutch bell- gear nuts tight.- tighten just to the point of zero slop- and do as woody asked- use blue loktite.- as for greasing the gears-- its spendy- and sticks to your fingers as good as it coats-sticks to gears-- do NOT use it on anything plastic, a tube of honda assembly lube- very high percent of moly - have fun getting it off your fingers--- the assembly lube is at most motorcycle shops-- honda.
