Hi guys

I have a body to paint and was wondering should I cut then paint or paint then cut?

Thanks

Re: Painting Body

Would cut/fit first, then paint. All edges will be coated properly and also less chances of damage to the finished piece.

WOW!!! I have always paint first then trim and cut with no problems but as I sit here and think about it I would guess it should be ok to do it either way.

Usually if they cut after paint. It's because you can use the extra to hold on to or drill a hole and hang body from and when dry cut off the old pieces with the holes or vise grip marks on it . either way it works. ..
