Gas Cap

Whats the deal with the stock plastic gas caps? I have a MT and it starts great, but about 10 minutes into running it acts like its starving of fuel. I unscrew the cap and it runs great. I took the rubber diaphram out of the cap and all looks fine. It just seems to be like a vapor lock. Anyone else have this problem?

Upgrade to the aluminum cap, it will solve your problem.

I had the same problem, and it did for me.

The problem is the rubber valve parts, not the housing itself.

Havent found any threads on this, my search option doesn't like to work on my phone. Can you point me in a good direction?
